The lack of natural light in the room was disappointing!!! the room decor felt mismatched and dirty in some areas, making it rather unappealing during our stay!!!

The Royal Tented Suite offered culinary delights! The fixed Sri Lankan menu was fabulous – a real taste exploration. The staff were super accommodating, even managing to serve dinner upon our late arrival. The outdoor seating area was perfect for unwinding, surrounded by nature's beauty.
Despite the shining service, the room left much to be desired. The decor felt mismatched, and the cleanliness was a bit of a letdown. Plus, the lack of views and the damp balcony due to monkeys made the space feel underwhelming for a two-night stay.

the elephant stables is really beautifull! we loved the tent suite, it was so cozy and not what u expect from a tent. breakfast was yummyy with loads of options, and we really liked the egg hoppers! the staff is super friendly, even the chef comes out to chat about his dishes. plus, the tortoises around the hotel are cute!
only downside was the wifi was a bit slow sometimes. also, there were some bugs in the tent which wasn't great.

Only downside was that the WiFi was a bit slow at times, but whatever, I was too busy enjoying myself!

Staying at The Elephant Stables was a wonderful experience! The unique design of the hotel stood out, with its mix of traditional and modern elements. The Royal Tented Suite offered an impressive outdoor seating area that was perfect for relaxing amidst nature. Staff members were incredibly attentive. Nihal, in particular, provided exceptional service. I enjoyed breakfast each morning, where the delicious coconut rotis were a highlight. The views of Kandy from the balcony were breathtaking, making each moment special. I did notice a couple of bugs in the tent, which could be addressed for better comfort. while the room was spacious, it could have used a bit more attention to cleanliness in specific areas. these minor inconveniences didn’t overshadow my experience.

Had a blast with my friends here! The views were breathtaking, especially from the pool area. It was a great spot to unwind after visiting the nearby Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and enjoying some local carrom games. The staff were super friendly and really made us feel at home. Highly recommend the onsite chef’s food!
The only downside was finding the location. tuk-tuk drivers seemed a bit confused about where to take us the first time.
